Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oral health assessments and routine dental treatments such as scaling, polishing, and fluoride therapy.
- Educate patients, including children and adults, on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
- Take dental X-rays and assist with basic dental diagnostic procedures.
- Provide treatment for gum disease and minor dental conditions.
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and ensure patients' comfort during treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress reports.
- Ensure the dental clinic’s compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks and patient care coordination as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Oral Health Therapy recognized by the Singapore Dental Council (SDC).
- Registered and licensed as an Oral Health Therapist with the SDC.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients of all ages.
