Interior Designer Responsibilities:
1. Understanding Client Goals and Requirements: You’ll meet with clients to grasp their objectives, needs, budget, and desired project completion date.
Clients might have specific requests, such as a particular style, colour scheme, or furniture from a specific designer.
Show samples of your previous work and ask meaningful questions to understand their vision.
2.Conceptualizing Designs and Creating Plans:
Translate client needs into rough plans.
Utilize mood boards to develop your design vision.
Create layout plans and 3D perspective drawings using software.
Prepare presentations and revise designs until the client approves the final concept.
Upon confirmation, produce detailed plans specifying interior finishes.
3. Budget and Timeline Planning:
Estimate project costs, including sub-contractor fees, construction materials, lighting fixtures, doors, windows, kitchen and sanitary hardware, furniture, and home decor items.
Education:
candidates with a diploma or bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field (e.g., visual communication, graphic design, or product design)
