Communications & Marketing Executive

The Theatre Practice Ltd.

About the Role:

The Communications & Marketing Executive plays a vital role in promoting Practice and its programmes, as well as advocating for the value and importance of Singapore theatre by crafting compelling marketing campaigns and fostering strategic partnerships. Reporting to the managers/lead of the department, you'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our organisational goals and objectives, ensuring the success of our diverse programmes and initiatives.


What You'll Do:

  • Assist the team in brainstorming and executing marketing and publicity strategies for sales, ticketing, and promotions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication plans across various communication channels, including direct marketing, digital marketing, advertising, etc.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, preparing reports, and analysing campaign results.
  • Assist the team in developing and managing timelines and project plans for various marketing and publicity initiatives. This includes:
  1. Setting realistic deadlines for each phase of the project
  2. Identifying and managing dependencies between tasks
  3. Monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed
  • Manage social media strategy and content calendar. Work closely with the team to create content, schedule and publish content consistently, track and analyse key metrics to provide feedback, and respond and engage with the online community.
  • Develop and foster strategic partnerships with like-minded organisations for increased publicity.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain consistent brand messaging.
  • Attend regular meetings and contribute ideas and insights to achieve marketing and sales targets.
  • Communicate effectively with partners and audiences, handle inquiries professionally, and gather feedback for improvement.
  • Provide administrative support to team members as needed.


Who You Are:

  • You are passionate about theatre and the performing arts.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have strong organisational and time management skills.
  • You are creative, resourceful, and a team player.
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools is a plus.
