Responsibilities:
· To balance the creative needs of our staff with production deadlines and client needs.
· Oversee project schedules, liaising between departments throughout the period and ensuring shipments are delivered on time.
· Oversee order entry and project scheduling
· Evaluating alternative transportation scenarios and solutions
· Analysing volume, speed, travel time, origin-destination
· Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
· Using data and simulation tools to constantly operate efficiently
Requirements:
· Possess technical knowledge of transportation, proficiency in operations traffic analysis and data analysis tools.
· Prior experience working in a logistics warehouse or similar environment
· Soft skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, teamwork, creativity.
· Innovative mindset is also necessary for success in this role.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
