Responsibilities:
- Responsible for tier-1 network monitoring and operations of customer's IDC network, conducting 7*24*365 shift based rotation.
- Responsible for promptly responding to, following up on, and driving the resolution of various network alarms and faults. Escalate to tier-2 engineer if needed.
- Responsible for following up and finishing network breakfixes like switch replacement, link repairing and dark fiber restoration. Work with IDC technicians to conduct physical work and provide proper instruction remotely.
- Responsible for conducting some simple network maintenance.
- Summarise daily monitoring and operations work into documents and regularly share within the team.
Qualifications:
- 1~3 years of experience in data center network monitoring and operations.
- Have basic understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP etc.
- Responsible, meticulous, have good communication skills.
- Capability of network troubleshooting and experience with Linux is preferred.
- Certificate like CCNA/JNCIA is preferred.
