We are working with our client, an amazing B2B Technology exhibitions and they are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager based here in Singapore as part of their expansion plans.
If you are passionate about business development and want to play a crucial role in generating sponsorship revenue across Asia, with a particular focus on the ever-growing China market, this is the perfect role for you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing client relationships with the goal of building long-term strategic partnerships, especially within the Chinese market
- Manage your sales pipeline, revenue forecast and account plans while working closely with key internal stakeholders.
- Successfully achieve sales targets and performance objectives for sponsorship within your area of coverage.
- Responsible for hitting personal targets as well as helping the team hit their overall targets.
- Building client relationships and maintaining them well.
- Keeping up to date about the market, customers, competitors and products to be able to sell the solutions well.
- Attending competitor events and travelling to meet clients quite frequently.
- Ensuring that the sales administration activities are completed
Your profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in business or related
- English and Mandarin skills required to reach business opportunities in the Chinese market (doesn’t need to be native)
- Solid track record in consistently delivering or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to travel quite frequently for business
- Self-driven personality, ability to work independently or as a team
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
