Responsibilities:
- Carry out all responsibilities of a Safety Coordinator for soil investigation, instrumentation and recharge well projects
- Oversee daily operations at site
- Develop and regular updates of Risk Assessments & Safe Work Procedures
- Issuance of PPE for new hire
- Upkeep safety documentations for various sites and project matters
- Liaise with field staff on all safety and health issues
- Reporting and carry out investigations on industrial accidents
- Attend all WHS meetings involving safety issues
- Liaise with clients for all safety matters pertaining to the project
- Conduct daily safety briefings, inspection of worksite to ensure compliance on safety matters
- Conduct safety orientation and toolbox meeting
- Conduct regular safety inspections of material tools, worksites etc
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least a Certificate or Diploma in a safety field
- Possess minimum 5 years of experience in LTA construction projects
- Must possess BCSS, 1st aid & Safety Coordinator Certificates
- Work at height / Supervisor is a must
- Lifting supervisor & RES certificate an advantage
