Position Overview:As technical co-founder, you will play a critical leadership role, shaping and executing the company’s technical vision. You will be responsible for planning and managing the development and implementation of our nanoencapsulation platform, overseeing R&D, and aligning technical objectives with business goals. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and will have a strong background in nanotechnology, materials science, or chemical engineering, with proven experience in product development and scaling technology in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the research and development of innovative nanoencapsulation solutions for various applications (personal care, pest control, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
- Oversee the design, testing, and optimization of encapsulation processes, focusing on enhancing product performance and cost-efficiency.
- Manage the technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor technology, and emerging scientific advancements to maintain competitive advantage.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards for product safety and efficacy.
- Guide IP strategy and manage patents related to the company's technological innovations.
- Assist in fundraising efforts by communicating the technical vision and milestones to investors and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Keen to join as co-founding team of a startup
- 5+ years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced innovation-driven environment.
- Proven experience in nanoencapsulation or related fields (e.g., drug delivery, personal care, advanced materials).
- Strong understanding of R&D processes, product development lifecycles, and commercialization pathways.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.
