This is a 12-months contract tenure. As the clients will be based in Japan, the ability to speak and communicate Japanese is a MUST in order to succeed at this role.


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced strategic partnership manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and activating potential opportunities within the Japanese market, providing business development support in strategic planning, creating presentations, and meeting with partners to drive business forward.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and activate potential partnership opportunities in the Japanese market (gaming/virtual reality/ entertainment industry)
  • Provide business development support in strategic planning, creating presentations, and meeting with Japanese partners to drive business forward.
  • Represent the company's partnership in external meetings with executives from external partners
  • Track, analyze, and communicate to develop and execute against partnership goals
  • Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams, including Product, Marketing, Legal, Policy team, and Operations to advocate for partner needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a partnerships role in the entertainment/tech industry
  • Proven track record in prospecting, securing leads and developing new relationships
  • Strong understanding of IPs and Entertainment landscape in Japan market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Japanese to liaise with Japanese Counterparts and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders internationally
