KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing and Vendor Management:
- Identify potential vendors and suppliers for M&E equipments (eg, Transformers, Cables, Switchgears, Electrical Panels, Lightings, circuit-breakers, etc).
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, product quality, and pricing.
- Negotiate contracts and establish favourable terms.
- Creation of new vendors.
- Perform Due Diligence checks on major/preferred vendors
Purchase Order Processing:
- Administer purchase requisition, quote and issuance of purchase orders.
- Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with project teams to align procurement needs.
- Maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Quality Assurance:
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased M&E equipments.
- Resolve any shortcomings or discrepancies promptly.
Supplier Relations:
- Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers.
- Address any issues or concerns related to deliveries, quality, or pricing.
Cost Optimization:
- Work closely with the Cost Management and BD teams to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Explore cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchases or alternative suppliers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Experience: Min 5 years in procurement within M&E / Construction sector.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with M&E equipments and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
