Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of AR functions.
- Liaising with internal staff for application of invoices with collections.
- Record of export bills from customers.
- Review AR aging report and prepare monthly sales & AR reports.
- Handle customer creation in the accounting system.
- Maintain cashbook for transactions and perform month end reconciliation.
- Maintain fixed deposit schedule and prepare journal entries in accounting system.
- Record and maintain trade finance transactions in Excel.
- Checking invoices for trading transactions and perform posting of invoices into accounting system.
- Prepare quarterly management reports for the banks.
- Prepare GST filing and creation of GST Form 5.
- Prepare audit schedule.
- Prepare statistics survey for government as and when required.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience, especially in accounts receivable (AR) function.
- Knowledge of trade finance will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to join immediately or within short notice.
