Specializing in the food and beverage industry, the company operates restaurants that showcase Hainanese cuisine, including the iconic Hainanese chicken rice, alongside popular Singapore dishes and Peranakan flavors. It proudly owns "Yanjiang Hainan Cuisine," a distinguished Chinese heritage restaurant chain, and the well-known hotpot brand, "Shufengjiu Chengdu Hotpot." With a wealth of experience in restaurant management, New Asia Lion City is dedicated to introducing more exquisite dishes to Singapore, promoting authentic Chinese and Southeast Asian flavors, and delivering unforgettable dining experiences to its customers.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Guest Service:Provide warm and welcoming service to ensure a positive guest experience.
    Assist guests with requests, answer questions, and address needs promptly.
  • Station and Table Management:Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift, ensuring it is fully stocked and ready for service.
    Clear soiled dishes promptly, prepare, and reset tables for new guests.
    Set tables according to event type and service standards.
  • Order Taking and Delivery:Take food and beverage orders accurately, enter them into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and relay to the kitchen.
    Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
    Prepare and serve desserts upon request.
  • Cashiering and POS Operations:Perform cashiering duties accurately, handling transactions, and closing checks efficiently.
    Manage the guest reservation system efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration and Support:Work closely with the team leader or outlet manager to support daily operations.
    Foster positive working relationships within the team and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
  • Additional Responsibilities:Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager to support smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a service or cashiering role, ideally within a restaurant or F&B environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering procedures.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
