Job description
● Welcome guests to the venue
● Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
● Handle reservation arrangements
● Usher customers to assigned dining or bar areas
● Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences
● Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
● Maintain a clean host area
● Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
● Assist wait staff as needed
● Engage and build a relationship with the customer to create a memorable experience for the customer
● Arrange the seating of customers
● Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant
Requirement
● Fun and bubbly
● Previous work experience as a Hostess preferred
● Understanding of restaurant etiquette
● Familiarity with health and safety regulations
● Experience in managing reservations
● Demonstrable customer-service skills
● Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
● Strong organisational skills
