It proudly owns "Yanjiang Hainan Cuisine," a distinguished Chinese heritage restaurant chain, and the well-known hotpot brand, "Shufengjiu Chengdu Hotpot." With a wealth of experience in restaurant management, New Asia Lion City is dedicated to introducing more exquisite dishes to Singapore, promoting authentic Chinese and Southeast Asian flavors, and delivering unforgettable dining experiences to its customers.

Job Description:

The F&B Operations Director will oversee and direct the operations across multiple food and beverage outlets, ensuring high-quality service, operational efficiency, and alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a seasoned professional with in-depth industry knowledge, a strong business acumen, and the ability to lead teams toward excellence in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:Develop and implement efficient operational processes to maximize productivity, service quality, and profitability.
    Ensure compliance with Singapore's health, safety, and food standards, as well as all relevant local laws and regulations.
    Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure consistent brand standards and operational excellence across outlets.
  • Financial Oversight:Manage and optimize budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
    Analyze financial reports and operational data to identify areas for improvement and ensure profitability.
    Collaborate with the finance team to review expenditures, sales forecasts, and pricing strategies.
  • Strategic Planning and Expansion:Lead site selection, market analysis, and feasibility assessments for new outlet openings.
    Develop strategies for expanding brand presence, customer loyalty, and market share in the F&B sector.
    Partner with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize sourcing and inventory management.
  • Team Leadership and Development:Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a high-performing and customer-focused team.
    Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
    Implement performance management processes to track and evaluate team member performance.
  • Crisis and Risk Management:Proactively identify and address operational risks and handle emergencies efficiently.
    Implement preventive measures and protocols for crisis management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with domestic and local teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment with company goals.
    Liaise with marketing, HR, and corporate departments to support brand-building initiatives and promotional activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in F&B operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Singaporean F&B regulations, industry standards, and market trends.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-site operations, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate across departments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
