Role: ACMV / HVAC / Aircon Technician
Duration: 1 year contract (Renewable)
Location: Multiple locations - Changi Business Park Crescent, Asian Square Tower, Orchard Rd
Working hours: 12 hours shift; 4 days a week - x 2 Tues & Wed (Night) + x 2 Sat & Sun (Day)
Salary: Up to $3.1k + 1 month bonus
As an HVAC Technician, he will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper equipment operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Requirements:
- Nitec / Diploma with 1 - 2 years of job-related experience.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 20kg or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
