Part-time Science Tutor [Chemistry/Biology/Physics]

We are looking for passionate and experienced Science teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons, based on our methodology, to help students achieve visible improvement in their academic results.


Positions Available [Year-long part-time assignment for 2025]

  • O-level Sec 4 Pure Biology: Sunday 2.15 - 4.15PM
  • O-level Sec 4 Combined Science (Chem/Physics): Saturday 9.00AM - 11.00AM
  • O-level Sec 3 Combined Science (Chem/Physics): Saturday 11.30AM - 1.30PM
  • O-level Sec 4 Combined Science (Biology): Saturday 9.00AM - 11.00AM
  • Physics Coach for Grade 9 - 12 International Syllabus (IGCSE/IB): Weekday evening or Weekend

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons in an engaging and dynamic manner, based on our methodology.
  • Develop lesson plans and materials (where necessary).
  • Provide feedback to help students achieve visible improvement in their academic results.
  • Engage students and help them realize their potential.
  • Minimum commitment of 1 year.
  • Be comfortable with hybrid delivery arrangements (handling both onsite and online students simultaneously).

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • NIE-trained candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient with the O-level/ IB Science syllabus (depending on the position you have selected).
  • Prior teaching experience of a minimum of 2 years and above.
  • Familiar with the latest syllabus
  • Passion in education – committed to nurturing the students and making an effort to continually improve yourself.
  • Dynamic and confident, with an approachable disposition.
  • Strong communication (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate in working with teenagers, positive and caring with strong work ethics.
