Job Description
Network Security Design and Implementation:
- Develop secure network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networks.
- Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), and next-gen security solutions.
- Manage network access controls (NAC) and role-based access policies.
Threat Detection and Mitigation:
- Monitor networks for suspicious activity using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement DDoS mitigation strategies and intrusion prevention mechanisms.
Network Performance and Maintenance
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Optimize network performance without compromising security.
- Perform regular patching, firmware upgrades, and security updates for network devices.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure the network complies with regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
- Conduct security audits and create incident response plans.
- Document security policies and network configurations.
The Successful Applicant
- Possess at least a Diploma in any discipline.
- Min. 2 years of sales experience within the IT industry.
- Preferable candidate with CCNA and Firewall implementation experience
- Work closely with technical manager or Team lead in achieving project SLA.
- Understand and identify customer challenges in customer IT Security domain.
- Installation, configuration and response to IT Security Post Sale Support.
