Job Responsibilities :
- Achieve Sales Goals: Work on increasing sales, profit, and market share for assigned product categories by staying on top of market trends and creating strategies to grow business and counter competition.
- Manage Inventory: Ensure the right products are available in the right amounts to meet customer needs, while reducing losses.
- Create Promotions: Develop exciting promotions that drive additional sales to the stores.
- Plan Store Layouts: Implement product placement strategies that encourage customer purchases and boost sales.
- Oversee Category Strategy: Ensure the execution of strategies for product categories and help develop store brands or private label products.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stay informed on market trends and customer preferences.
- Adapt to Market Trends: Regularly review industry trends to keep the product mix appealing to target customers.
- Competitive Pricing: Develop pricing strategies that provide value to customers.
- Maximize Supplier Deals: Work closely with suppliers to get the best terms, discounts, and offers to improve sales and profitability.
- Category Performance Reporting: Create monthly reports to track the performance of assigned categories.
- Evaluate Promotions: Analyze promotions to ensure they are as profitable as possible.
Job Requirement :
- Diploma or Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Work Experience: 4-6 years in a similar role, ideally in retail or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of market trends.
- Excellent presentation and people skills.
- Energetic, creative, collaborative, and adaptable.
- Ability to analyze data (like AC Nielsen) to gain insights.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Works well across teams and departments.
- Decision-maker who can adapt to changing conditions quickly.
Salary Range : $5,000.00 to S$6,000.00
Working location : Tampines, Office Hours
