Work Location: Punggol
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Job Description:
• Prepare Science apparatus for experiments and Mathematics manipulatives for lessons.
• Keep Science apparatus and Mathematics manipulatives after lessons.
• Assist the HOD/Science and HOD/Mathematics to develop a stock list for stocktaking, do stock taking of both Science apparatus and Mathematics Manipulatives and maintain the stock list after yearly stock taking.
• Organise return and collection of Math and Science deskcopies on an annual basis.
• Organise Math and Science resources neatly in Math cupboards and in the Science laboratories.
• Perform simple repair of equipment and manipulatives when needed.
• Work with teachers to create simple manipulatives and/or any other materials for Math and Science Departments programmes.
• Support the Math and Science Departments for recess activities.
• Help with photo-taking for Math and Science programmes or activities.
• Work with teachers to take simple Math and/or Science teaching videos.
• Provide administrative support as deployed by the school.
Job Requirement:
• Preferably with experience working in a school environment in the field of Science and Mathematics.
• Candidate must be proficient in English Language, including listening/understanding, speaking, reading and writing.
• Candidate should be able to use basic MS Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Candidate should be able to achieve work goals independently, while pro-actively seeking clarification as needed to offer the timely support for the departments’ programmes.
