Area of Responsibility
1. Surveys and investigates the requirements on the technical system, made from various aspects (customer, law, standards, technical analysis, etc.).
2. Processes the requirements: analysis, structuring and documentation in transparent form, incl. corresponding sources and stakeholders.
3. Responsible of highly specialized tasks as stated below:
a. Installation support of panel manufactured.
b. Power up of the panel, network and system healthy
c. Loop checking and cold startup
d. Hot startup of the drives & checking the process.
e. Fail-safe systems functional checking
f. Third party communication checking
g. Final commissioning and achieving the plant run at full load
4. Perform study on fail-safe related concept and performing on-site execution of fail-safe systems.
5. Manages the requirements and maintains the documentation (requirements management).
6. May check the requirements under formal aspects regarding completeness and ambiguousness.
7. May check the content of requirements regarding comprehensibility, consistency, cross references, dependencies, and later check ability (acceptance criteria).
8. May evaluate the requirements based on broad experience regarding their feasibility or contained technical risks.
9. May support the verification of the requirement fulfillment in the execution phase in cooperation with quality management.
10. Checks the possibilities for technical realization regarding the requirements.
11. Drafts the technical realization of the requirements within the technical discipline.
12. Dimensions elements, components or software by calculation or by their specification according to the requirements and, if necessary, documents the required technical proofs.
13. Acts as a specialized know-how owner for a technical discipline.
14. Hardware & Software design, FAT, erections, installations, commissioning, and services
15. May cooperate with specialists of other disciplines or faculties, may coordinate technical interfaces.
16. Provides feedback on lessons learned to the Engineering Organization and R&D department.
Required Education/other required Experience
1. Engineering Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, I&C or equivalent.
2. 5-10 years’ experience in I&C commissioning, installation, service or maintenance business.
3. Knowledge of Siemens DCS SPPA-T3000.
4. Knowledge on Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, HRSG & BOP process including protection.
