JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESCRIPTION
1. Support Logistics department in the management of Lean Transformation programmed through the implementation of Lean initiatives and Kaizen events.
2. Lead and champion LEAN, quality improvement and change management vis-à-vis the alignment with the company’s business goals.
3. Facilitate and drive Lean implementation across the company through the development of training framework, project cycle framework, etc; and guide the Lean teams in project implementation to achieve the project goals.
4. Review and drive Lean standardisation and consistency approach with respect to workflow and problem resolution processes.
5. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in executing and implementing existing or new policies and procedures as well as to ensure company procedures, processes and practices are in compliance with company standards and regulations.
6. Lead the team in measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of improvement processes, including performing benchmarking exercise against industry standards.
7. Review and establish Lean accreditation framework to audit Lean value stream activities at business units.
8. Review and establish Lean role mandate for all levels of the organization.
9. Review the organization’s Lean capability needs and work with the organization to establish the coaching requirements of Lean trainers, facilitators, specialists and staff to sustain high standards of staff proficiency.
10. Assess and certify in-house Lean trainers and facilitators upon completion of required training and demonstrated competencies.
11. Expand and sustain the Lean deployment efforts through establishing Kaizen and continuous improvement events.
12. Gather data and compile meaningful reports for customer data analysis and internal data quality scoring.
13. Analyze customer and campaign data - focusing on data that accurately measures actionable results.
14. Develop ongoing and ad-hoc reports to track key performance metrics, Lean transformation progress.
15. Assist in creating and maintaining client-facing & internal business-reports/dashboards.
16. Reviewed documents for completeness, accuracy, and authenticity by performing quality/lean reviews and complying with document control procedures and any relevant documents.
17. Perform any other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business or relevant quantitative disciplines.
· More than 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in Lean implementation and sustainment.
· Strong expertise in Lean principles, and is the go-to person to seek advice in Lean methodologies, including value stream design, implementation and sustainment.
· Excellent project management skills, detailed and merticulous.
· Proven leadership success in driving Lean in a large organization.
· Great leadership with good interpersonal skills in leading and motivating a team, influencing and driving changes across operations, business units and customers.
· Demonstrated experience with development processes- particularly design controls, risk management (ISO Standards), and documents/process controls.
· Familiar with Singapore and regional GDPMDS and ISO standards would be an advantage.
