Job Description
- Reception duties: Handle incoming phone calls and enquirer, assist walk-in visitors, manage goods delivery, pack and sort delivery items according to classes for students collection
- Ensure accurate and timely distribution of items
- Prepare and verify documents over the counter
- Maintain and update data records and various school document
- Maintain confidentiality of all school and pupil information
- Attend to pupils who are unwell or dismissed early
- Attend to pupils’ general enquirer and needs at the General Office; and
- Any other duties as assigned by the School.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (minimally both Word and Excel).
- Proficient in the use of email communication, particularly with Goggle Mail (Gmail).
- Fluent in spoken English and one other language
- Preferably 3 years of experience in receptionist/customer service.
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with children between 7 to 12 years old.
- Preferably 1 year of experience working in an educational institution
- Have basic First Aid knowledge
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer service skill.
- A team player who works well with other colleagues.
- Mature individual with a pleasant disposition.
Working hours
- Receptionist 1 (Half Day)
- Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
- Receptionist 2 (Full Day)
- Mondays to Fridays: 8:45am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
