Job Description
Media Development
- Assist teachers with development of media content eg Powerpoints with video, instruction videos, video-editing for events, creation of podcast, recording and editing of audio files, etc.
Maintenance of IT/AV/Makerspace/Non-SSOE Equipment
- Loan, manage inventory, maintenance and servicing of
- Microphones
- Mobile PA system
- School PA system
- Non-SSOE Mobile devices (ie. iPads, tablets etc.)
- Charging and updating of apps
- Deployment of equipment to classrooms when required
- Maker space equipment (eg. 3D printer, 3D pen, etc)
Technical Assistance and expertise (Equipment-related)
- Assist teachers in any technical-related matters (Example projector, visualizer and microphone issues)
- Assist teachers in use of Chroma Key, Audio-Visual recording, etc.
- Provide expertise and advice during Professional Sharing
- Record user guides for AV equipment
Vendor liaison
- Assist HOD ICT in sourcing for vendors for AV equipment, arrange demonstrations, etc
- Suggest up-to-date AV solutions based on schools’ needs
Photography and Videography
- Assist in taking photos and/or videos for school events
- Basic photo and video editing as necessary
AV support for school-based events
- Coordinate AV support structure to cover school events ie. Morning assemblies, Concerts, Examinations, sports carnival etc.
Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum Diploma
- Skills: Possesses creative thinking and problem-solving skills to assist ICT Key Personnel to coordinate projects and admin processes like inventory tracking, condemnation processes etc.
- Good communication skills and personal presentation to inform, help and advise school users clearly.
- Ability to use latest versions of Microsoft Applications (ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint 365 etc.) and familiarity with Media tools and skills (video editing apps, photo-videography, audio recording, live stream, sound system, etc)
- Experience: At least 3 years in similar scope
Working hours
- Mondays to Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm inclusive of 1/2hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

- Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
- With option to extend (Discretion)
