Shift allowance
- Providing routine monitoring of systems, networks and applications.
- Provide timely support to internal and customers requirement
- Performing configuration activities on servers and network equipment.
- Rebooting and power-cycling systems.
- Producing reports such as system health and performance on established metrics
- Assist with hardware and software diagnosis
- Handle equipment rack and stack
- Perform cabinet / cage audits
- Testing and troubleshooting of optics fiber circuits
- Resetting applications.
- Providing general help desk services.
Requirement
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Center, Telecommunications or IT related field
- Basic understanding of inter-connectivity and structured cabling standards
- Understanding of network device deployment
- Ability to communicate written and verbally
- Work on rotational shift schedules
- Use of industry standard test equipment (OTDR, RFC testing)
- CDCP, CompTIA A+ / Net + Certification
- Knowledge of Fiber/Copper testing
- General knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Able and willing to do shift work
