Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive EV Charging Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

This role focuses on the technical and strategic aspects of integrating advanced EV charging solutions into existing and new infrastructures.

With an in-depth understanding of EV charging technologies and related electrical engineering principles, the successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting our growth within this fast-evolving industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in EV charging technologies, including monitoring emerging industry trends such as battery swapping and ultra-fast charging solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to evaluate the impact of new technologies on our operational strategies, offering innovative, actionable recommendations to keep our infrastructure competitive and future-ready.
  • Provide expert guidance on adapting and integrating these technologies to support business objectives and optimize operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and recommend strategies for dynamic electrical load management, helping to address challenges in EV charger deployment and maximize infrastructure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to implement load management solutions that reduce costs, enhance performance, and improve energy consumption.
  • Conduct comprehensive site assessments to determine the feasibility, potential costs, and infrastructure requirements for new EV charger installations.
  • Analyze existing electrical capacity and recommend upgrades or modifications to support anticipated energy needs while maintaining optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed, technical specifications for tender documents related to EV charging infrastructure upgrades, ensuring all requirements align with industry standards and support seamless integration.
  • Outline critical criteria for electrical upgrades, collaborating with procurement and engineering teams to ensure that the specifications meet project requirements.
  • Provide specialized consultation on electrical and infrastructure challenges within EV projects, advising on cost-effective solutions and practical approaches to streamline project timelines.
  • Recommend engineering and design solutions that balance project objectives, operational efficiency, and budget constraints, contributing to well-informed decision-making.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong intention and commitment to pursue Professional Engineer certification (PE) in the near future.
  • Demonstrated diligence, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to project and operational responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn and a deep interest in EV charging technology and related advancements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate technical challenges and provide practical, innovative solutions.
