Job Scope:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for machine parts and materials locally and globally.
  • Continuously identify new suppliers and review existing ones to maintain a pool of qualified options.
  • Work with suppliers to order quality products, negotiate terms, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate on schedules, quality, and specifications.
  • Manage project costs and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage inventory and purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with teams such as design, engineering, and assembly to ensure cost savings and on-time project delivery.
  • Enforce procurement policies and procedures both internally and externally.
  • Assist in arranging training sessions with suppliers for designers or engineers when needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Some technical knowledge of machine components.
  • Familiarity with SAP and MS Office.
