Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Silica Sands Sales Cordinator with expertise in the product. This role involves physical and derivative trading with a strong focus on global Silica sands markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep market knowledge, experience in trade origination, and a strong network within the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to drive sales, manage risk, and lead business development in a niche area of the carbon sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade Origination & Execution:
  • Lead the execution of physical and derivative trades for Silica sands.
  • Source, price, and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Sales & Relationship Management:
  • Build and manage relationships with key clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the client base and increase market share.
  • Handle contract negotiations, ensuring all terms align with business objectives.
  • Exposure Management:
  • Monitor and manage market exposure to optimize trade positions and mitigate risks.
  • Implement risk management strategies in line with market trends and dynamics.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy:
  • Stay ahead of global Silica sands market trends, regulations, and competition.
  • Use market intelligence to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, particularly in niche markets within the carbon space.
  • Business Development:
  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing innovative trading strategies.
  • Explore and secure partnerships in emerging markets, with a focus on long-term sustainability.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Silica sands trading.
  • Expertise in both physical and derivative markets, with a strong track record of successful trades.
  • In-depth knowledge of global Silica sands markets, including supply chains, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory environments.
  • Strong relationship management skills and a robust industry network.
  • Experience in trade origination, sales, pricing, and risk management.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and act on new business opportunities in the carbon and Silica sands sectors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in sourcing and managing Silica sands markets.
  • Knowledge of niche opportunities within the carbon space.
  • Proficiency with commodity trading platforms and exposure management tools.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
