RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise a team of staff to oversee smooth operation flows and ensure timely collection of all revenue.
- Ensure adherence to internal control system by reviewing Accounts Receivables processes pertaining to revenue, billing and collection.
- Responsible for timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing standards and implement workflow changes to adopt new Financial Reporting Standards or business requirements.
- Supervising the team to perform reconciliation of sub-ledger to main ledger including bank reconciliations and preparation of audit schedules.
- Planning and scheduling the team for systems changes, UAT and document changes to processes and system changes and updates.
- Continuously evaluate policies and procedures, tweak processes to gain productivity and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Degree in Accountancy, with 10 to 15 years of experience relevant working experience, preferably with CA qualifications.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the major accounting software (SAP, Oracle etc.).
- Experience with system changes implementations and UAT.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software and databases.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong interest in data management, RPA and data analytics.
- Familiar with BI tools (e.g. Qlik sense, Power BI, Tableau, RPA) has an added advantage.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Interesting personality with can-do spirit.
