What You’ll Do
As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this mid-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution to a project team. Leads the implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle NetSuite solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications.
You will be responsible for managing clients in post-sales environments. Working with the rest of the Consulting department, the successful applicant will need to quickly assess client needs, develop innovative plans to solve their problems and implement these plans to the client's satisfaction. You must have a passion for business and the associated Cloud technologies, as well as advanced analytical problem solving acumen, applied to help clients find creative ways to more effectively run their businesses.
Finding new ways to constantly improve the satisfaction and loyalty of our clients is a top priority. You will have extensive ERP implementation expertise spanning the full implementation cycle and be adept at managing the delivery of application functionality. In this role, you will often be working under pressure, implementing several projects simultaneously and striving to meet aggressive timelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business process mapping workshops;
- Document and validate customer’s business requirements and map to NetSuite functionality;
- Configure/customize NetSuite application to meet customer’s business requirements;
- Conduct consulting sessions (over Webex or similar technology and in-person) and document with meeting minute summaries;
- Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables;
- Support the sales cycle through solution review, feedback, and assistance with scoping and estimation;
- Provides direction and mentoring to project teams;
- Document solutions and contribute to solutions repository;
- Document Best Practices and share with Consulting practice;
- Participate in SME program in area(s) of interest and expertise;
- Contribute to internal professional services (PS) knowledge share; Review posted feedback on a continuous basis;
- Participate in Continuing Education sessions;
- Be fully versed on functionality released with each new product upgrade;
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of numerous factors;
- Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions;
- Documents, troubleshoots and escalates Support issues outside defined parameters;
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action;
- Understands theories, concepts, principles, and techniques to handle most situations without guidance;
- Quickly assesses customer needs, develops innovative plans to solve complex business workflow, and implements these plans in the Oracle + NetSuite environment;
- Possesses a passion for helping customers find creative ways to more effectively run their businesses;
- Determines methods and procedures on new job assignments, and may coordinate and/or lead team activities;
- Independently organizes and performs most work required within area;
- Ability to influence customers to modify current business practices, as required;

- Generally, receives guidance and direction from other project resources (Consulting Technical Manager, Project Manager), and Manager;

Qualifications/Skills
- Solid understanding of inventory related transactions and movements within an ERP system;
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors, Software and Services, Wholesale Distribution, Retail; Manufacturing;
- Strong business analysis skills;
- Exposure/passion for Cloud-related technologies;
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems applications consultancy with a consulting firm or software provider;
- Successful candidates should have demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable world class business solutions; Candidates should have excellent customer relationship acumen and experienced consulting skills to work with customers;
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Experience successfully delivering presentations via web conferencing;
- Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to core ERP processes;
- Must have experience with financial application package and good understanding of accounting principles;
- Experience in full cycle implementations of CRM, ERP and eCommerce applications desirable;
- Experience in NetSuite technical/script/solution gap-fit desirable;
- Previous application experience in one or more of the following Systems: NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Epicor, Great Plains, AccPac, Salesforce.com
