Position Overview
The People Operations Executive is responsible for managing various HR functions, ensuring efficient and effective HR practices that align with the company’s goals. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of human resource policies, and the ability to work effectively across departments. The Executive will handle recruitment, employee relations, payroll, performance management, and compliance, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings, sourcing candidates, and screening resumes to interviewing and onboarding new hires.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, handle workplace issues, and work to maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Support and execute performance management systems, including goal setting, periodic performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
- Learning and Development: Identify training needs and support the organization in providing skill-enhancement opportunities for employees.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure that HR policies are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Regularly update policies to reflect changes in employment law and best practices.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll and oversee employee benefits programs, ensuring timely and accurate compensation and benefits management.
- Employee Engagement: Plan and implement employee engagement activities, fostering a supportive and motivated workplace.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key HR metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, and employee satisfaction to make data-driven decisions.
- HR Systems and Documentation: Maintain HR records, ensure data accuracy in HR systems, and manage employee records securely.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in HR or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues confidentially.
- Proficient in HR software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
