- Manage commercial and contractual activities within the project efficiently and effectively
- Providing feedback from the field related to competition, distribution channels, suppliers and products.
- Position self as a resource and leader for the overall development of the organization
- Responsible for project planning, resource allocation, budget, steering committee leadership and project team organizational structure management
- Identify areas of risk and methods of mitigation for projects.
- Assist in managing contractual and commercial disputes
- Participates in project budget reviews and provide advice when required.
- Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Perform contracts administration including quotation, cost accounting, tenders and contract documentation
- Provide advice and information to projects on contractual and commercial matters
- Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC polices, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and minimum of ten years of experience in contracts management
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and methodical approach to work
- Excellent written, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze contractual and legal issues and provide solutions using appropriate problem-solving techniques
- Proficient and competent in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel.
