Our client, an innovative company specializing in IT and telecommunications, is looking for a Project Engineer to oversee structured cabling projects. This role is crucial for managing the coordination, execution, and completion of various projects while ensuring they meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: The engineer will monitor daily field activities, manage information flow, and address any issues related to project progress, quality, and safety.
- Documentation and Handover: Assist in finalizing handover plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and that expectations are fulfilled on schedule and to a high standard.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential issues and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.
- Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through direct interaction, focusing on enhancing their perception of service quality, delivery timeliness, responsiveness, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Travel and Flexibility: The role requires travel to various job sites, and candidates should be prepared to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Project Management: Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.
Job Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand technical and construction documentation is essential.
- Industry Experience: Relevant experience in the construction or technology sectors is required.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat is necessary.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
