Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advisory support to the business and operational functions of the StarHub Group
- Carry out contract review, drafting and negotiation for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions, including contracts and documentation for commercial, telecommunications, technology, infrastructure, media, sales and procurement contracts
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the StarHub Group to ensure compliance with internal policies, corporate governance and legal and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer (common law jurisdictions) with LLB (Hons) degree from a reputable UK, Australian, Singapore or Malaysian university
- 8 to 12 years of PQE
- Experience in any or a combination of the following areas of law: Commercial/ Corporate/ Telecommunications/ Technology/ Data Protection & Cybersecurity/ Intellectual Property
- Prior in-house experience in the info-communications, technology or network infrastructure industry will be an advantage
- Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills
- Analytical, strategic thinker, pragmatic and solution oriented
- Reliable, self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently
- Responsive, articulate and with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite
