Description
Warehouse Assistant
- Perform warehouse duty of receiving, checking, retrieving, loading & unloading, repacking and palletizing for both import and export cargo.
- Ensure proper cargo checking upon receipt and report any irregularity observed to supervisor.
- Carry out daily physical stock check of remaining cargo in warehouse and update report for distribution to the import and export section.
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness & housekeeping of warehouse area.
- Observe safe warehouse practices and security.
- Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor from time to time.
Reach Truck Driver
- Operate the reach truck to move products and materials to specified locations in the warehouse.
- Transport products to various locations in the warehouse for storage or distribution.
- Stack and store products in designated areas following inventory management procedures.
- Perform daily checks and maintenance on the reach truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage to goods.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, including time, quantity, and location.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
