Responsibilities:
- Lead technical teams through all stages of project development for EPC turnkey projects, including detailed cost estimation, feasibility assessments, engineering designs, technical proposals, and contract strategy formulation.
- Conduct in-depth technical site surveys and evaluations, ensuring all project designs are grounded in practical, site-specific data and best practices.
- Develop comprehensive risk management plans and financial controls, ensuring both budget compliance and effective mitigation of technical risks throughout each project phase.
- Formulate and implement advanced quality management frameworks, including QA/QC procedures, to uphold engineering and construction standards across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Make strategic, data-driven decisions, providing clear, actionable guidance to project managers for streamlined execution of technical milestones.
- Design and optimize project engineering workflows and technical strategies to enhance cost-efficiency and ensure timely project delivery.
- Offer mentorship and advanced technical coaching to project managers and engineers, focusing on elevating project management and engineering competencies.
- Drive efficient resource planning and deployment, ensuring balanced workload distribution and the continuous development of technical team members.
- Conduct regular technical progress reviews with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure alignment with engineering goals and strengthen client relationships.
- Ensure that all project activities meet stringent regulatory, industry, and authority requirements, maintaining strict adherence to engineering and safety standards.
- Lead competency development initiatives for project personnel, implementing specialized training and development programs to meet evolving technical demands.
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and systems for enhanced project engineering and process management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or similar), Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in EPC turnkey project development and execution, with a strong emphasis on engineering and technical project management.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in renewable energy, energy and utilities, and process plant projects is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in technical leadership, with a proven ability to guide, mentor, and manage high-performing engineering teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic, technical mindset and the ability to make informed engineering decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a successful track record of fostering strong client and stakeholder relationships through technical clarity and collaboration.
