About the Job
The Logistics Department plays one of the most critical roles in managing part the assets in Cyrus. You will be joining a dynamic team managing and working closely with the Assistant Warehouse Manager to solve Logistics, warehouse operation issues, managing the inventory level and fulfil daily orders. You will also be required to implement new ideas to improve our logistics and warehouse operation processes.
Your key responsibilities cover the following 5 broad areas:
1) Receiving and Inspecting of Goods
- To verify the quantity of goods, inspect for damages and report discrepancies.
- To ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
2) Inventory Management
- To tidy and organise all inventory and maintain accurate records for accurate monitoring
- To conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
3) Order fulfilment
- To retrieve and pack shipment orders according to delivery schedules, and coordinate with inter-departments for deliveries and pickups.
4) Warehouse Organization
- To ensure inventory are well organised and stored at stipulated locations so as to achieve and maintain warehouse 5S standard.
5) General Support
- To initiate and collaborate on work improvements projects to improve processes and work environment.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
· Secondary school, Higher Nitec, Diploma or 2years working experience in warehousing or environment.
· Basic understanding of Microsoft Office is required.
· Valid Forklift license is an added advantage.
· Knowledge of ERP/WMS system.
· Physical fitness to carry goods up to 25kg.
· Key attention to detail and monitoring of inventory quality.
