Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, particularly in the areas of AI and payments technology.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, recruit, and retain top talent, especially those with expertise in AI, data science, machine learning, and payment systems.
  • Design and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive within the tech and fintech industries.
  • Collaborate with department heads, including technology and finance teams, to understand business needs and support organizational development.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and innovative company culture, ensuring high levels of productivity and employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure the organization remains compliant with labor laws and HR best practices, particularly in areas of equity, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Develop leadership programs and promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees to stay competitive in the fast-evolving AI and fintech sectors.
  • Oversee performance management processes, ensuring clear communication of goals, feedback, and career progression.
  • Lead HR analytics initiatives, using data to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Manage and advise on employee relations issues, providing guidance to managers on conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
  • Implement effective HR technologies to improve efficiency, such as HRIS systems and employee engagement platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications are a plus).
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a tech-driven organization.
  • Proven experience in AI, fintech, or payments industries, understanding the unique HR challenges and talent needs in these sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, with experience managing multi-regional teams.
  • Experience in designing and executing recruitment strategies for technical roles, particularly in AI, machine learning, and payments.
  • Expertise in compensation, benefits, and reward strategies specific to the tech industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using HR data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR technology tools for streamlining processes.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, data-driven recruitment, and organizational behavior.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment for payment systems (e.g., PCI DSS, PSD2, AML/KYC regulations).
  • Experience scaling HR functions in a high-growth fintech or AI startup.
  • Passion for diversity and inclusion initiatives, particularly in tech-oriented industries.
  • The ideal candidate will also possess business-level Mandarin proficiency, which is essential for effectively communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders and team members across China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong on a regular basis
  • Prior experience in leading an offshore team in China or Hong Kong is highly preferred.
