Job Description & Requirements


Successful candidate will assist Parts & Service Sales Manager on the following tasks:

  • Conduct Field Engineering during the piloting, construction, commissioning and operation/maintenance/after sale phases
  • Provide technical and hands-on support for the implementation of pilot studies and commercial operations
  • Manage site operators in implementing good practices for plant operations and maintenance and daily operational activities through preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical training
  • Support the development, establishment, and maintenance of plant performance monitoring, reporting and improvement.
  • Proactively report and investigate plant performance/reliability issues and propose practical and cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and oversee the relevant technical support to the operating sites, as to reduce unplanned downtime through failure analysis and corrective actions implementation.
  • Support the preparation of the predictive and preventive maintenance programs at operating sites and closely monitor their performance.
  • Participate in technical meetings
  • Promote and support after sales services, including spare parts, consumables, ad hoc operational and site technical support. Work closely with Engineering and Procurement departments to correctly specify and source materials and services.
  • Positively promote a safe and healthy work environment and employ safe work practices at all times, including documenting incidents and recommending and following through on corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain efficient communication and information sharing between the Operations Department and Engineering/NPI Departments including writing and issuing technical reports and Return of Experience/Lessons Learned reports.
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your superior.

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferably with 3-5 years of related experience in commissioning and /or in Operations and Maintenance in the industrial water treatment systems.
  • Must be a hands-on person
  • Familiar with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and Controls of process plants
  • Commissioning activities like SAT/FAT, instruments, valves and controls loop check.
  • A team player that is willing to work with different age groups and nationalities.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel as and when required.
