Job Position – Electrical & Instrumentation Control (E&IC) Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will play a critical and challenging role in the design, engineering, and construction of the electrical systems for the RExus WWtE Plant. This position will be responsible for overseeing all electrical engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, execute, and manage capex projects according to company guidelines, meeting operational, technical, commercial, and HSEQ standards.

· Develop and review electrical design drawings, schematics, and specifications.

· Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and control) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

  • Prepare detailed electrical equipment and system specifications.

· Interpret and implement project technical specifications, attend meetings for technical clarifications, and facilitate identifying and mitigating engineering risks.

· Review and approve vendor documentation, including equipment data sheets and technical specifications.

  • Oversee the procurement and installation of electrical equipment.
  • Perform site inspections and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of electrical work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the power plant or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of power plant control systems and automation.
  • Experience in project management.
