This position, inside the core strategic project of a bank, will allow you to:
- Build a new digital platform to interconnect investors, lenders and clients on syndicated markets
- Create a system to manage large lender pool deal, different loan format, institutional investors and multi-product
- Increasing agility lead by more focused and structured transactions
- Implement solution aligned with regulatory requirements (Basel IV, IFRS 9).
The program core team is distributed between Paris and Singapore - The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with the rest of the program. The candidate will need to develop a good understanding of both IT systems and business processes.
Main responsibilities
- Design, implement and test components from functional specifications.
- Participate in analyzing, resolving and providing technical support escalated to the team
- Contribute and guide other developers to maintaining a high standard of delivery quality
- Propose solutions to problems and build designs with the Technical Lead
- Participate in peer code reviewing
Qualifications and Profile
This position requires around 8 years of experience working with Java ecosystem.
Technical
- Very good understanding of application system design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
- Frontend development experience with Vuejs or Angularjs
- Experience developing web service - REST, gRPC
- Good knowledge of different design patterns
- Working experience with Agile Methodology in at least on project
- Good knowledge and understanding of the following: Maven / Git / CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Gitlab CI
- Good to have experience with: Container (Docker) / Kubernetes / Messaging Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebsphereMQ) / Relational Database / NoSQL Database
Functional
- General knowledge of corporate and investment banking especially financing domain.
- Good understanding of SDLC
