My client is a leading player in its industry, keen to hire a driven self-starter with strong communication & presentation skills to oversee a global Internal Audit portfolio.
The successful candidate is independent, possesses strong critical thinking skills, and is a fast learner who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and in having discussions outside APAC time zone.
Budget
SGD 18,000 – SGD 20,000 per month + Bonus
Requirements
- Degree qualified with at least 15 years of Global/ Regional Audit experience
- International MNC experiencerequired. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, matrix organizational structure, thrive in challenges, and comfortable with changes.
- Strong Team Management experience
- Experience in operational and financial audits, and concurrently managing Global projects & strategic audits
- Global experience will be highly advantageous (or have experience working directly with Global stakeholders)
- Strong experience in end to end processes, navigating complexities and able to work with ambiguities
- Traits: Highly motivated, strong critical thinking and excellent communication & presentation skills, independent, mature, self-starter, ability to work under pressure
Position
As the Internal Audit Director, you will be responsible in the planning and execution of operational and financial audit, ensuring efficient resource planning, drive strategic audits and concurrently manage Global projects aligned with overall company direction. You will drive annual risk assessment, develop audit programs and risk-based audit plans, conduct interviews to document key operational processes, provide independent advice, and make recommendations to resolve operational issues appropriately. You will work with global stakeholders, cross functional teams and senior management, identify challenges, risks, controls and operational issues, and drive implementation of practical solutions. You will communicate and present results and findings effectively to senior management and adopt a consultative approach.
You will be responsible in leading and developing a high performing team, continually identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. The successful candidate is a confident leader and a self-starter with strong critical thinking and excellent communication & presentation skills.
