Responsibilities
- Administer, setup and maintain security posture of the network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other infrastructure teams, e.g. Security, Server, Storage and Mainframe, etc. to ensure business application service availability
- Maintain network infrastructure in compliance with the security guidelines.
- Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new infrastructure or application system.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Ensure availability and optimal performance of network infrastructure to support the provisioning of business applications to public and staff.
- Maintain system documentation.
- Provide support to application team on technical questions.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery Operations
- Perform problem analysis and resolution implementation to support system and application needs.
- Monitor and maintain system availability and optimal performance in a 24x7 operating environment
Requirements
- Experience collaborating in a project teams, delivering on key project milestones, and communicating effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Knowledge in conducting impact analysis, strategize, plan, and execute upgrade to new version.
- To be able to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotation basis which at times require work outside of normal business hours to support critical tasks.
- Knowledge in the latest networking trends and patterns, including those in the Commercial Cloud
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to elicit root cause of issue through asking the right questions
