Key Responsibilities:
•Develop embedded software/firmware for switched-mode power supplies and battery chargers.
•Prepare code for digital control of power supply/charger, housekeeping functions, and communication.
•Adjust and optimize controller parameters to improve power supply performance.
•Work with the hardware team to meet customer requirements.
•Liaise with multiple parties – customer, factory, and internal/external stakeholders for successful product delivery.
•Good communication skills to ensure effective collaboration within a diverse team.
Requirements:
•BSc, MSc, or PhD with Min. 3 - 8 years’ experience.
•Knowledge of power electronics topologies and design – flyback, boost PFC, LLC, PSFB.
•Ability to perform digital control of power electronics and other housekeeping functions.
•Proficient in C/C++, MATLAB, and Python.
•Experienced in CC/CV mode control.
•Code ancillary functions such as power supply protection, calibration, and timing requirements.
•Comfortable with digital controllers and DSPs from major vendors.
•Basic hardware tests the ability to perform independent debugging.
•Familiar with automotive communication protocols, e.g. CANbus, OCPP.
•Candidates with the below skillsets will be an added advantage:
1.Familiar with automatic test systems.
2.Experience in the automotive industry.
