organ McKinley is seeking a BI Developer for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Responsibilities
- Setup and configure the reporting platform to meet business needs.
- Translate business and functional requirements into comprehensive technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain ADF pipelines for data migration and transformation.
- Write and optimize complex ETL scripts and queries for efficient data processing.
- Present data insights through impactful reports and dashboards.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot defects to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications
- Azure Data Factory (ADF): 2-3 years of hands-on experience, proficient in developing pipelines and handling complex jobs.
- Synapse: Experience configuring Synapse databases and integrating with ADF.
- Power BI: 2-3 years of experience, skilled in building paginated reports and complex dashboards, and knowledgeable about licensing and access management.
Good to Have:
- Experience in cloud data warehousing.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
- Knowledge of other data manipulation tools and technologies.
Troubleshooting: Resolve issues promptly and make necessary system changes.
