Responsibilities
- Oversee the workshop's day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth operations and customer service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote operational efficiency and optimal workshop maintenance.
- Ensure the workshop staff is adequately trained, motivated, and operating to the company's standards.
- Act as the escalation point for any operational challenges, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Liaise between the sales, operations, and customer teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Regularly assess and improve workflows and working conditions to reduce labor turnover and optimize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety protocols and housekeeping standards during operations.
- Compile and submit detailed technical reports to customers and manufacturers.
- Prepare and manage reports covering workshop performance, budget, and expenses.
- Plan and track financial budgets and key performance indicators to meet targets.
- Address any issues that arise within the operations team and handle them in a transparent and timely manner.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering - Electrical Preferred
- Strong knowledge of Material Handling Equipment
- Prior working experience in managing daily workshop for at least 2 years
- Candidates with Class 3 Driving License will be an advantage.
