Finance and Admin Associate/Assistant Vice President

SBI Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“SBISSG”) is the Singapore subsidiary of SBI SECURITIES Co. Ltd., a Japan’s leading online securities company within the SBI Holdings Inc. which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and part of the SBI Group of companies. SBISSG is licensed to conduct the regulated activities of dealing in capital market products that are securities as well as advising on investment products that are securities. We work closely with our Tokyo and Hong Kong offices servicing Institutional, Accredited and Expert Investors in the region.


We would like to invite talents to apply for the role as Associate/Assistant Vice President. Key role is to provide Finance and Admin support to the team and reports directly to the Head of Finance & Admin.

Role and responsibilities include: -

  • Process payments for vendor invoices and staff expense claims. Track accounts receivable, accounts payable and raise tax invoices. Perform daily bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare journal entries to record the accounting transactions in a timely manner.
  • Prepare financial and regulatory reports to local management, parent & holding companies and regulators including MAS and IRAS.
  • Assist with statutory reporting which includes annual audits, preparation of financial statements and tax computation.
  • Perform general office administrative work which may include arrangement and coordination of meetings.
  • Assist Finance & Admin Head on adhoc projects.

Requirements: -

  • Degree/diploma in accountancy or equivalent, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3-7 years of related work experience in security brokerage environment or financial sector will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency and efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must; proficiency in Sun System will be a plus.
  • Good team player.
  • Attention to details and commitment to work efficiently.
  • Ability in Japanese language will be an asset.
  • Applicant must hold a current Singapore Citizenship or PR.

Final position title and remuneration package will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Flexible Work Arrangement is possible.
