The role:
We are partnering with our client, who is a 5-star premium international hotel in the heart of Orchard Road in Singapore. They are looking to hire part-time F&B Service Captains to support their Banquet, all day dining, and signature Italian restaurants. This role requires maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring guests receive optimal service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, always keeping the guests’ needs in mind.
- Take initiative to resolve guest concerns and communicate effectively with both guests and colleagues.
- Contribute ideas to improve operations and the dining experience.
- Promote the services and facilities available to guests.
- Ensure personal and guest safety during all duties.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu and confidently make suggestions based on dietary requirements or preferences.
- Prepare the dining area for service and maintain cleanliness according to standards.
- Greet guests warmly and follow up on any questions or requests promptly.
- Prioritize guest satisfaction and ensure a positive service experience.
Qualifications:
- High school education or relevant experience in hospitality.
- Strong communication skills with a good command of English.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills.
- Adaptable and willing to take on various tasks as needed.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
