A leading real estate developer, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Assistant Finance Manager.
About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will play a key part in supporting the continued success in the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for a variety of core financial activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to contribute by identifying process improvements and analyzing financial data to provide valuable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, bank reconciliations, and tax filings.
- Assist with preparation of financial reports, including monthly closing procedures, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Conduct financial analysis of revenue performance, operating variances, and other key metrics.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency.
- Support external audits and ensure all reporting meets compliance standards.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial accounting software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
