Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Commodity Trader specializing in futures trading to join our team. The trader will be responsible for executing futures trades, managing market risks, and collaborating with the research team to identify profitable trading opportunities. Experience in hedging strategies, especially foreign exchange risk management, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute futures trades in commodity markets, particularly in coal.
· Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize profitability.
· Monitor market positions, trends, and risk exposures.
· Manage hedging strategies, including foreign exchange (forex) risk management.
· Work closely with the research team to stay updated on market developments.
· Ensure compliance with internal trading limits and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a futures trader, with a focus on commodities (coal experience preferred).
· Strong understanding of risk management and hedging strategies, including forex hedging.
· Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
