Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Futures Research Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, analyzing commodity trends, and providing insights to support our trading decisions, particularly in coal and other bulk commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct market research on commodity futures, focusing on coal and related markets.
· Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics.
· Prepare detailed reports and forecasts on commodity markets to assist the trading team.
· Monitor and evaluate global economic and market developments that may affect commodity prices.
· Provide recommendations on trading strategies, including hedging and risk management.
· Collaborate with traders to optimize trade execution.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
· Experience in futures research, commodities, or financial markets.
· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical and financial modeling.
· Familiarity with coal markets or other bulk commodities is preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
